New Boy Scout and Cub Scout Cartridges From Cricut

(See below for some great deals & coupon codes for Cricut.com)Cricut Scout Cartridge - coupon codes at Lisa's Workshop

Holy cow – these are nice!   We have so many great memories from Scouts and it’s not always easy to find Scout related papers, stickers and embellishments.  These 2 cartridges will make it easy to decorate, make custom shirts, invitations, scrapbook layouts and more!

Both of my Boys started as Tiger Cubs and crossed over into Boy Scouts.  My youngest decided Scouting wasn’t for him just a few weeks ago but my oldest is all in.  He just needs to pass his Scoutmaster Conference and Board of Review & he’ll have the rank of Life Scout.  The next rank after that is Eagle Scout!

Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold, camping, hiking, Court of Honor, Eagle Scout and more are all covered!  The cartridge is also available digitally for use in Cricut Craftroom.

Win a Cricut Explore!

(This post is sponsored by Cricut)
Sign Up for the Cricut Newsletter and Enter to Win a Cricut Explore™!

I’ll be perfectly honest with you - I am not familiar with the Cricut Explore, myself.  I  have (& LOVE) a Silhouette Cameo and although I invested lots of money in my Cricut Expressions & lots of cartridges & accessories I hardly ever use it.  I find it too limiting and much less precise than my Cameo.
It looks like the Cricut Explore has addressed some of those issues but, in my opinion, there is still one major issue.
The software is internet based.  You must be connected to the internet to access any images (including those on your own Cricut Cartridges) or to create anything.
I know that not everyone crafts the same way I do – so here’s your chance to win a Cricut Explore™!"
Sign up below to receive the Cricut Newsletter by August 19th, and you'll be automatically entered into a drawing to win a Cricut Explore™! Use your email or login with Facebook and you will automatically sign up for the Cricut newsletter and be entered to win the giveaway.

In the meantime, you can get yourself ready to receive that winning
Cricut Explore™ and go shopping on Cricut.com. You can get free shipping on all orders of $35 or more, when you use the promo code: FREESHIP35 at checkout.

This & That CM Cartridge saves the day!

image

I am “Queen of the Last Minute Projects”.   I have accepted this and now embrace it!  Vinyl projects are so very quick and easy…perfect for procrastinators and planners alike!

Catholic School’s Week was a bit ago – resulting in lots of fun activities for my boys – penny wars (will put us in the poor house!!) crazy hat & tie day, no homework day (yahoo!) and the 4th graders had a day where they could dress like they were from the future.  Despite Richie’s pleas for a robot costume we decided to do something easier (for both of us – how would he sit?  He didn’t care!)

I suggested this shirt – it had a robot on it and mentioned the future (plus I found it on clearance!)  - what more could you want?

dscn2194

Of course, that wasn’t going to work for him so we brainstormed and came up with this:

dscn2180dscn2177

dscn2180

A future (space) Olympian!!

I used the This & That Creative Memories Cricut cartridge and cut the images and letters out of self adhesive vinyl.

Good enough for one day’s wear – everything stayed stuck on throughout the school day and even at night for the spaghetti dinner!

He did wear the robot jersey under the hoodie for his music teacher Smile
