Hello & Welcome!!
You have reached the 5th stop on the CM Father’s Day Blog Hop. My fellow CM Advisors and I are sharing ideas and inspiration for your Father’s Day layouts and projects featuring Creative Memories products. If you’re hopping in order, you’ve arrived from Sarah’s blog. At the end of my post I’ll send you on your way to Noreen’s Blog. Be sure to visit each stop – there are lots of wonderful ideas being shared! (More info, including the complete list of Blog Hop stops, is at the bottom of this post.)
Cheers to Dad!!
This page would be a perfect place for photos of Dad at the grill, or enjoying some of his favorite food & drink but you can also use the punch art on all sorts of other types of layouts!
Background papers (including that darling tie print!) are from the Hello Baby Boy collection.
Punch art burger and a nice glass of beer…ginger ale…whatever you choose
You can easily customize this mug by choosing different paper to “fill” the glass to reflect the beverage of your choice!
To make the mug you’ll need these shapes:
Word Bubble Punch – white cardstock (3)
Shape Maker System Square- 1 white and 1 yellow
Custom Cutting System Ovals– white cardstock.
1st cut: 5IB. 2nd cut: 5IG
(See this blog post for CCS labeling/cutting instructions)
Cut 1/4” from the two adjoining sides of the yellow square using the Personal Trimmer. Round the bottom of both squares using the Two Way Corner Rounder.
Burger
To make the burger you’ll need these shapes:
Shape Maker System Circles: Light Brown Cardstock (2) Dark Brown Cardstock.
Shape Maker System Square: Orange Cardstock
Shape Maker System Circle Tag: Red Cardstock
Blossom Place N’ Punch: Green Cardstock
Cut down the orange square and layer your items between the two light brown buns.
I snipped out “Cheers!” and letters to spell “DAD” from one of the pieces of paper in the Achievements Pack, mounted it on part of a paper from the Hello Baby Boy paper pack and created my title for the page.

Adhere all the shapes together using your Tape Runner and adhere it to the page.
Add a little detail to the mug and the top of the bun using the fine tip of a Black Dual-Tip Pen.
Thanks for stopping by! I will send you on your way to the next stop in the CM Blog Hop - Noreen’s Blog.
