Shamrocks and a Pot of Gold

Every Friday at the CLS FB page we share a featured project.  This is the one I shared this week – a few ideas for your St. Patrick's Day or other Irish/lucky themed pages. Happy Friday!

Shamrocks - St. Patrick's Day - Lisa's Workshop

Does that rainbow look familiar? It was a #FeaturedProjectFriday post in August of 2017. Click here to get full instructions about how to create this using CM's Custom Cutting System and Oval Patterns

Those shamrocks (punched from one of the patterned pieces from the Girl Woodland Whimsy Paper Pack) are actually is one of the flowers punched with the Embossed Trio Flower Punch. I think they're perfect for St. Patrick's Day pages! You could easily snip off one of the petals to make a 3 leafed clover, too.  Adhere the punched shamrocks and flowers from the Daisy Bouquet Punch to a border made using the CM Border Maker System and the Sprout Cartridge.

To make the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, use your Circle Patterns with the CM Custom Cutting System to cut a circle from black cardstock and trim it down a bit. (I cut an I2B circle shown here. If you're not familiar with the labeling system I use for the CCS you can check out this blog post: http://lisasworkshop.blogspot.com/2015/12/cm-circles-and-ovals-blog-hop.html )
Use leftover circle pieces punched with the CM Border Maker System and the
Bubble Cartridge for the legs of the pot and also the gold pieces – punched from Gold Shimmer Paper. The Repositionable Tape Runner Refill was a huge help in sticking down those little pieces of gold!
