Virtual CM Party

I don’t know about you but it’s the middle of summer vacation & I’m waiting for those lazy days of summer to kick in.  I’m thinking that’s not going to happen!  Never enough hours in the day!  I’m not going to let that get in the way of celebrating CM’s 25th birthday (which is today!)  This is a great time to host a CM party – and I’m happy to offer virtual/online parties to the ways I am able to help others celebrate their memories & help you earn FREE CM product for helping me do just that!

With a virtual CM party I’ll make it easy for you to reach out to friends & family, showing them how quick & easy it can be to organize & display their photos – but most importantly – it’ll be at their convenience!  I will send you an email that you can forward to your friends explaining the event as well as set up a Facebook event where I’ll post tips, ideas & freebies throughout your virtual party.  Guests can order from my website and their order will ship directly to their address.  I am currently holding a virtual CM party on Facebook and you’re welcome to visit the event to see what it’s all about and help yourself to the freebies. 

Now through Saturday, July 15th is the perfect time to host a virtual CM party – all you need to do is invite your friends to the one being currently held.  Please ask them to post on the event wall that you sent them and  let them know that when they order they can click on the “Credit this order to my host” button  at checkout and enter your name so you’ll get credit for their purchases.   I will also post this information on the event wall and when they first post you sent them.

Hardcover Storybooks 25% off until June 25!

My oldest joined his school lacrosse team this year.  It was a great experience for him – and us!  I’ve created Storybooks for those parents on the team that wanted them & am now waiting for them to be delivered!  Here are a few pages I did featuring my oldest son, Richie. 




I used the Lacrosse Digital Additions – and changed the color and/or hue of the papers & elements to match their team colors (LOVE that plus when working with digital!) 

I did a page for each boy on the team as well as pages featuring each coach,  face offs, teamwork, etc.
Creative Memories offers a volume discount on Storybook orders of 10 or more – as long as they are the same size & type.  The content of the individual books can be different.  So even though each book I made had some different pages (parents will have a double page of their son, single pages of his teammates) we were still able to get the volume discount!  Add that to the 25% off sale CM is having on Storybooks & we saved a bunch!  These make fantastic coaches’ gifts, too!

Hexagons are cool!

Have you seen all the fantastic layouts floating around Pinterest & other internet sites using hexagons? 
Made me chuckle – I have the Creative Memories Hexagon Makers in my stash since it came out about 9 years ago and it made me  think of this: 

Made in the same fashion of those ecards you see on Facebook & Pinterest…yes, I do spend a lot of time on FB & Pinterest!
I found the clipart of the lady on this blog and altered her a bit so I could add a photo of a border I made years ago to show off the Creative Memories Hexagon Maker (sorry – they’ve been discontinued…you’re free to use mine at my events, though!)
I used Storybook Creator Plus to make the image above.

CM National Scrapbooking Day Events–including April 27–May 5 sale!

Stop by St. Mary’s in Wayne (we’ll be in the gym) on April 28th from 10 am – 10 pm to join me for a NSD crop.  You’ll be able to see the newest products &  pick up a new mini catalog.  I’ll have products available for purchase, too.  I’m bringing my laptop & can show you Memory Manager and/or Storybook Creator Plus (on sale this month!) Daily Project Challenges & Door Prizes
CM has some fun activities planned throughout our nine-day NSD celebration that will engage you each day and help you get moving on your photo projects! Every day by noon Central Time, CM will post a sketch and project challenge on CM’s blog (watch for links on Pinterest and the Home Office and Go Digital Facebook pages). The sketches and challenges will be adaptable for both digital and traditional croppers.  All you will need are a computer, a variety of scrapbooking products and photos ready to pop onto your pages (including one or two of them as children and some vacation shots)!  Anyone who uploads an image of a daily challenge project to CM’s Facebook page by 11:59 p.m. (CT) will be entered into a door-prize drawing for that day.

Additionally, CM will be posting a link to a daily Speed-Scrap Challenge on the Go Digital Facebook Fan page to help digital scrappers complete beautiful pages quickly. They will also offer daily digital freebies that, when collected each day, will include all the components of 2 full pages!
